WORSHIP & MUSIC:
Worship and Music are the cornerstones of our church through which we offer appreciation, praise, prayer, love, glory and honor to God, and grow closer to Him through Bible-centered messages. Our services are carefully planned, and may include our choir, ensembles, quartets, trios, duets, soloists, and drama. Guest singing groups, musicians and soloists are always welcome.
Our 8:30 Blended Service features a praise team that leads the congregation in Praise and Worship Music. Our 10:00 Traditional Service uses well-known worship songs from a songbook. Our 11:00 Live! Services features a full live band and enhanced technology features. Whatever your taste in music, you’re sure to enjoy our services.

SCWCC has a strong commitment to missions. Currently 16% of church income is designated to Missions.
We partner with missions and missionaries overseas, in Africa and South America, in the Muslim world, and Native American communities in Arizona.
The Missions Committee stays in close touch with the missions and arranges visits by them to the church when available. In addition, local area missions are supported by work teams, food and clothing drives, and special projects as needed.
SCWCC, through its missions outreach, takes seriously the Lord’s command to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel.”
Carol Windus, Ministry Leader
The mission of this God-loving, good-natured group of men is to provide outreach to the Sun City West Christian Church (SCWCC) congregation, the Sun City West community, and the missions supported by SCWCC. They assemble once a month except for June, July and August, at a breakfast meeting (prepared by two of the men) to discuss successes, current projects and future plans that fall within their mission statement. Two major programs to which men have pledged their time and efforts are:
The “Member Assistance Program” provides men who can make minor home repairs, home maintenance or yard work to those who are not able physically or financially to perform this work.
The “Member Transportation Program” provides transportation to/from medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, financial institutions, church events or similar transportation needs.
The Men’s Fellowship/Ministry is not all work and no play. The men have attended a variety of events of interest to men such as auto and air shows, museums, sporting events, and just good old men talk.
Come join us in the Lord’s work and in the love of His people.
Mike Willcox, Ministry Leader
At Sun City West Christian Church, the Outreach Ministry is designed to help fulfill our church purpose, “To know Christ and make Him known.”
Our Outreach Ministry team delivers fresh loaves of bread to our first-time guests and share the various ministries offered at SCWCC. Following this contact, the “Welcome Guest” telephone committee makes contact with our valued guests.
The Ramblers is a group of adventurous singles or couples who get together to visit or explore exciting and interesting places around the valley.” While we have no formal monthly meeting, we try to get together at least once a month for a one-day outing. In the past we have visited The Brass Armadillo Antique Mall, Organ Stop Pizza, Desert Botanical Gardens, the Vulture Goldmine, Mystery Castle, Cave Creek, Wickenburg, the Musical Instrument Museum, and many more. If you want to have FUN AND FELLOWSHIP and EAT with your friends, come join us. Events are planned in advance and promoted in the Weekly Bulletin and Monthly Vision Newsletter.

Women’s Ministry at Sun City West Christian Church is a place for all women of all ages and life situations. The heart of this ministry is to meet ladies right where they are in life and come along side them, encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them along in their journey with God. The Women’s Ministry offers spiritual encouragement, friendship, and wholesome fun! Our goal is to serve our Savior by serving the women of the church and our community. We are an important part of this outreach.
Girlfriends, young and old, have a great impact on our lives. Let’s be there for one another! We can support one another in Bible study, social events, praying, crafting, visiting and numerous other activities.
The leadership team has planned an exciting year of “Girlfriend Gatherings”. Starting with a Kick-Off Luncheon, we will feature different ways you can participate in the life of Sun City West Christian Church. It is our hope that you will discover how to connect with other women as well as your Lord, Jesus Christ. By doing so, we all can live more confidently as Christian Women in our families and communities. All ladies are encouraged to participate in any or all of the various gatherings available.
The Women’s Ministry at Sun City West Christian Church is here to serve ALL women, whether or not you attend our church. So invite your family, friends, and neighbors! We are blessed by your participation!
